Passion for Atlanta's Craft Beer & Decadent Food, Meets Great Customer Service

Southern Culinary Tours continues to serve as locals’ and visitors’ connection to the city of Atlanta through craft beer and food. Fostering knowledge of the brewing process, tasting the cultural food of the area, learning about the breweries and restaurant’s roles in the community from expert local guides, and making memories along the way is what we do on every tour.

How Southern Culinary Tours Began

Southern Culinary Tours, formerly Southern Beer Tours, began in November 2013. The founders, Justin Hall and Jonathan Oliver, realized the Atlanta craft beer market was growing rapidly and they wanted to share the city’s enthusiasm for these brews with locals and visitors alike by simply tasting and enjoying them. On our brewery tours, we would take out anyone with a curiosity about craft beer to several breweries without lines or driving. As the company continued to grow, Justin Hall wanted to bring people closer to Atlanta’s other culinary treasures from shrimp and grits to craft cocktails. Just about 8 years later, Justin found the opportunity to bring in tours of Atlanta’s food and cocktails, and Southern Beer Tours became Southern Culinary Tours in December 2021.

Southern Culinary Tours has served numerous guests and hosted private tours from 50th birthday parties and bachelor groups to corporate tastings. Companies like Fortune 500 companies such as Google, Coca-Cola, UPS, IHG, 3M, Time Warner, Ernst & Young, The BFGoodrich Company, WestRock, Markel, MillerCoors, Xerox, and Owens Corning have coordinated events with Southern Culinary Tours.
