• Token Rhyme West Coast IPA – Nick Tanner from Cherry Street Brewing, Mitch Steele from New Realm Brewing and Brian Whitley from Piedmont Brewing teamed up together to create a brew honoring the late Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead. Jerry Garcia’s birthday is August 1st, also known as Jerry Day. Jerry Garcia’s music, both individually and with the Grateful Dead, has been an inspiration to each of us over the years. Token Rhyme was brewed in the traditional West Coast IPA manner. The malt consists of just Maris Otter English Pale Malt and a pinch of light crystal It was then hopped heavily in the boil and dry hop with a blend of Cascade, Centennial, and Chinook. Expect ripe and rich flavors of sap and pine with boasting notes of citrus lemon peel and grapefruit zest.
