Georgia Breweries Take Home 5 Medals At The 2023 World Beer Cup

If you’re a fan of beer, you’re in luck because Georgia is home to some of the best breweries in the country. In fact, at the 2023 World Beer Cup, four Georgia breweries took home a total of five medals, showcasing the state’s impressive craft beer scene.

The World Beer Cup is a highly esteemed competition organized by the Brewers Association, often referred to as “the Olympics of beer”. This year’s event was held on May 10th in Nashville, in conjunction with the Craft Brewers Conference. Brewers from all over the world compete in various categories to see who has the best brews.

Georgia breweries certainly held their own this year. We’d like to congratulate the four Georgia Breweries who took home a total of 5 medals this year:

  • Our tour partner Monday Night Brewing in Atlanta for getting a Silver medal for their Mixed Culture Brett beer called Barrel Farm
  • Silver Bluff Brewing Co out of Brunswick for getting a Silver medal for their Mexican Lager
  • New Realm Brewing out of Atlanta for getting 2 Bronze Medals for Oaxaca Choca Mexican Chocolate Stout and Blackberry Smoke American Lager

  • Creature Comforts out of Athens for getting a Bronze Medal for their German-Style Pilsner Bibo
